NEET PG 2020 Registration, Application Form & FAQs
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has started the online registration process of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Post Graduate NEET PG 2020. The registration can be done only through online mode. In this Marrow blog post, the aspirants can find a detailed explanation on how to register for NEET PG 2020.
Important Dates
The online registration of application form for NEET PG 2020 has started on 1st November 2019. It can be accessed and submitted until 11:55 PM on 21st November 2019.

Instructions for filling NEET PG 2020 Application Form

1. Online Registration:
Step 1 – First, you have to visit the official Website of NBE and click on NEET PG – New Registration. This will take you to the registration page.
Step 2 – Fill up your basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Contact number, Email id and then click the submit button.
Step 3 – When you click the submit button, an information box will appear asking you if the information you’ve entered is correct or not. You can click the submit button if you are sure that the information you’ve entered is correct.
Step 4 – Once you finish the registration process, a pop-up notification will appear, where you’ll get your user id. The password will be sent via mail/phone number.
FAQ’s:
Q. Can I change my DOB if I’ve mistakenly entered it wrong?
A. No, you cannot. The basic information once submitted during the registration process cannot be modified. Make sure you verify the information to be correct for submission, else click on CANCEL to review before clicking the submit button.
2. Filling the Application Form
Personal Details
Step 1 – The application page contains three sections. In the first section, you have to fill up your details. The page will auto-generate the details you’ve entered on the registration page. Other than that, you’ve to fill the name of the parents, Religion, Category, Place of birth, Disability status and Nationality.
*If you choose a general category, a new option appears which asks whether you are from an economically weaker section.
Step 2 – On the same page, you can see a question on whether you are willing to take up post-graduate courses in the Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions. If you click yes, you have to select an option from a list where the page asks you to choose on which armed forces category belong?
Step 3 – On the next page, you have to fill the contact details and Identification details.
Step 4 – Choose any government-issued photo identification from the list(Aadhaar, Voter’s ID, PAN card, Driving License, passport) and enter the identification number along with the marks of identification.
Step 5 – The next step is filling the address. There are two separate columns for the correspondence address and permanent address. If both the addresses are the same, there is an option where you can select ‘yes’.
FAQ’s:
Q. I have entered the wrong category while filling the form. Can I edit it?
A. No. NBE doesn’t allow correction for the fields like Name, Gender. DOB, Nationality, Category etc. So you cannot correct it.
Q. Can I edit my address when the correction window opens?
A. Yes, you can. The option of editing certain information entered in the application form shall be available to the candidate after the last date of online submission of application form for 3-5 days.
Q. I have submitted my NEET PG 2020 application twice, will it be rejected?
A. Yes. Multiple application forms shall be rejected.
Qualification Details
Step 1 – First, you have to fill the State/UT of completion of your 10th and 12th grades.
Step 2- In the next step, you have to fill your MBBS course details. First, you have to select the country of completion of MBBS qualification, State/UT, City, University, college and year of completion.
Step 3- If you have completed MBBS from any other country you can select the specific country, university name, the name of the college, and other details.
Step 4- The next step is filling the Internship details. You have to give the details regarding internship like the date of internship completion, Institute of internship, city and date of the start of the internship.
Step 5- Next, you’ve to enter the Medical Council registration details like MCI/SMC registration number, state of registration and registration medical council.
Step 6 – In this step, you have to fill some additional information like whether you’re deported during the medical course, charged of use of unfair means by NBE/other examination body or have you appeared in NEET PG previously. After completing you can click Save and Next.
Documents to be uploaded
Step 1- First you have to upload a recent passport size photograph. The size of the image should be less than 80kb. Name of the candidate and the date of capturing the photograph should be at the bottom of the photograph. The Photograph must be a passport size colour photograph of 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height) without border and clearly showing the face, in a white background.
Step 2- Next, you have to upload your scanned signature. Signature should be clear and without overwriting on a white paper sheet within a box of 6*3 cms (width*height). The size should be less than 80kb in .jpg/.jpeg format.
Step 3- Apart from uploading the signature, you have to upload the thumb impression which is a clear colour thumb impression without border. The size of the image should be less than 80kb. The impression must be taken in colour with a white background only.
Step 4- Next, you have to upload the scanned copy of your valid MCI/SMC registration certificate of MBBS qualification. Only jpeg, jpg, and pdf formats are accepted. The maximum size should be 400 kb.
FAQ’s
Q. I’ve submitted an incomplete application. Would I get a refund of my fees?
A. No. Incomplete applications or applications not following instructions will not be considered and are liable to be rejected. The examination fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Q. My uploaded image was taken some years back and it doesn’t have my name and date on it. Can I reupload a new image during the correction period?
A. Usually, NBE will announce a date for this correction. But it’s always better to send NBE an mail regarding the date of correction.
Test Center
Step 1- In this step, you can choose the state and the city you opt for writing the exam. Candidates will be informed about their Testing Centre in the chosen city approximately 7 days before the examination day.
FAQ’s
Q. Can I change the test centre once after I choose it?
A. No. Requests for change of testing centre/city shall not be entertained.

Sir Can i change my pan card number in neet pg 2020 form. It was wrong due to loss of internet connectivity and my form is submited.
Didn’t edited my thumbprint during edit portal available .will my application get rejected.
I ve also got the same problem. I dint reupload my thumbprint. Will my application get rejected?
